Fun With Spring Flowers

There are many neat spring botanicals available from the folks at Blooming of Beloit. For example lets consider viburnum... It comes in different varieties, handles quite nicely and of course adds to our repertoire of natural green colored product that we can play with....

It's amazing how well viburnum can integrate with everyday flowers into very traditional, classical floral designs. Adding viburnum is one way that you can take your classical mounds or even radiating fan designs to the next level, making them just a bit more special.

Here we present a polychromatic mixture of materials....... Roses, minature carnations, daisy poms, statice and carnations are very common materials.........And the colors are quite random. Notice how the addition of viburnum really enhances the vase arrangement! It just ties it all together and helps to moderate what could have been a rather wild color mix.

Here is a close up.

When you stylize your classical floral art, consider viburnum as that special trick up your sleeve that can take that design, to the next level! It helps to integrate together a number of other materials that could normally clash. It also works well in floral art with polychromatic mixtures. This design trick really does work! And you learned it here at Rittners Floral School!

Thank you Blooming of Beloit!
