Rittners School Of Floral Design
In Boston Presents....

Wired Water Design #1

This is a great example of a wired water design. Notice that it is quite simple......Only one flower, a rose is presented here. Yet the rose is actually standing up, supported by wire. The wire is a 12 guage aluminum wire in a green color. The thickness of the wire is strong enough to provide support, yet it is very easy to bend and shape into various forms. You can do this with your hands if you are strong enough, or possibly use pliers if you feel the need. Spirals of the green wire hold the flower securely in place, yet form a decorative element in their own right. We like seeing the wire as much as we do the stem of the flower. Oh yes, the flower isnt alone in this composition. There is also a small branch of curly willow to add a bit of drama and counterpoint. The curly willow is also held in place by the decorative wire.
