Fun With SMR Stephanotis
(page 6)
This round bouquet of stephanotis and roses could be carried by the bride, maid of honor or even bridesmaids.......We think that it is quite pretty..........
So pretty that we started to think of using the same motif--combination of materials--in other contexts........
For example, why not have matching table centerpieces for the bridal reception....The one illustrated below, is placed into a **Revere Bowl.
(**The Revere Bowl is named after a local fellow who did good... Remember your history? Paul Revere? He's one of the fellows who went off on that midnight ride to warn the Colonials that the British were coming.... It was a couple of hundred years ago....True... A few things have happened since then....But if you take one of our great diploma courses at our school in Boston, you will be quite close to where it all actually started! And you can even see one of the original Revere Bowls made by the big guy himself, at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.)
Back to the floral design........Here is the reception arrangement stylized in a Revere Bowl using SMR stephanotis and roses!
So you can see........ Stephanotis can be used not only in bouquets and flowers to wear, but even in vase arrangements...........
..
Here is a striking horizontal vase arrangement using stephanotis from SMR, roses, baker fern and salal.
This arrangement could be used on a head table as a companion piece to the bouquet and reception arrangements.........
It could also be placed on a mantel, as a mantel decoration!
But wait..........There's more!!!!!!
