These are the designs that our cascading arrangement pointed toward.......
and they are really neat to contemplate...........
Many people get surprised when they see these kinds of designs......
The concept of taking flowers and stylizing them into things that one
would not normally associate with flowers such as a bag or shoes......is both fun and
unusual.....
Within the floral trade, we call such designs "flower novelties."
They are technically challenging for the floral designer......and for those who have never seen such things before.....a real
eye opener as to the kinds of things that floral artists can stylize!!!!

The Rose Lamp
Stylized with some branches and many rose petals.......
Look at it.......Enjoy it........But don't try this one yourself, folks.......
This design is extremely labor intensive......
In addition, the integration of floral art with anything electrical should never be done by any person who doesn't know exactly what s/he is doing....It must
be carried out by an expert....and even then, with all necessary precautions and safeguards........

Graceful Horizontal Arrangement
 A very lovely traditional horizontal vase arrangement compliments the furniture very nicely here............
Sometimes with the correct floral piece, enormous size or elaborate bells
or whistles are not necessary...............Just an understated elegance..........
The beauty of this design is that it could be left here as shown, or placed on a dining room table as well, for it may be viewed on both sides...........
Any floral combination will work well here.......

Country Style Tea Setting
This small table is perfect for a tea party, and isn't this a unique approach
to that motif??
Structurally this country style tea setting uses chicken wire and moss to achieve
its results...........
Can you pick out the cups and saucers??? The tea pot???
But another great example of floral novelty designing...............

Sunny Yellow Arrangement
Isn't this one great???
This is really a variation on the round mound vase arrangement, so popular in many flower shops........
But it is handled in a very nontraditional manner..........
The combination of materials is unique and spectacular........
Mini sunflowers, fruit and veggies such as kiwi and pineapple are integrated so nicely into this
floral powerhouse!!
A doily of foliage surrounds the design at the base.......and notice that foliage is even wrapped around the base of the container.........Some twine creates contrast in color and texture around the foliage........This kind of design will work very well in kitchens, dining rooms and places where people congregate first thing in the morning........
It is bright and cheerful........Perfect to help one start the day in a positive, optimistic mood......
It could also be used very effectively in a spot in the home that is a little dark, for it would definitely brighten up any side board, desk or table onto which it would be placed.......
An outstanding example of how floral art can be used to cheer us up or brighten our day....
