Approaching the Entrance...
As we approach the entrance to the exhibit we notice a poster of "Flowers From New England" on the gate.... Let's take a closer look at the poster which illustrates a design that is found in the courtyard just outside the entrance.
We find both on the poster and in the courtyard a lovely topiary tree stylized with flowers fruits, and vegetables.

A closer look... The bricks, the chairs, and the beacon lamp bring back to mind a typical Bostonian setting.
The lovely topiary ties in quite nicely!

Inside, An Elegant Welcome
Welcome flowers in a large pot....
This kind of design works well in so many places; it is great as a focal point on a large table such as this.
It can also serve as a great design for an entry hall.
Any of an infinite number of variations of materials can be used to stylize this kind of floral piece......It gives a very natural yet abundant look............

More Lovely Arrangements
Three interesting pieces...
The forms are definitely dictated by the setting.........
All three designs are placed on an antique piano...........
Both sides are arrangements stylized on candle stands..........like matching bookends........
The center symbolizes musical notes, stylized with dried flowers..........
We always suggest special caution when placing flowers on furnishings.....Take care not to have any excessive water and be extra careful to use liners and not allow any container with leaks.......If this is a possible problem, then consider substituting the use of silk or dried. The protection of the furnishings is the top priority........While we are offering this cautionary comment with these specific designs here, it applies to all floral art presented..........
And now... a wild flower arrangement in a large container.
Designed, yet with an unarranged flair............
Notice how this arrangement dominates the space.....
The design provides both harmony and contrast with this area......It is rather light in color and therefore integrates nicely with the walls......Yet by being light, it contrasts with the furnishings and the carpet on the floor..........
A very impressive abundant look..........
