Rittners School Of Floral Design
In Boston Presents....

Topiary Tree #8

Some interesting things are going on in this topiary stylized using carnations, miniature carnations, button poms and statice......

Spanish moss is used quite handily in this design. It is used to cover the bottom of the design. It is also used in the top section of the design to cover the mechanics. It blends in well with the natural flowers.

Spanish moss has also been wrapped around the plastic rod that connects the top and bottom sections of the design.

The overall effect is a very unified floral piece. Yet at the same time the moss gives the arrangement a very natural appeal.

The treatment of flowers at the baseline is also quite interesting in this floral design. A circle of miniature carnations and button poms circle the entire circumference of the container.
